manufactured in Wooster, Ohio by Wayne County Rubber Inc. an ISO
9001:2000 company. We provide new and innovative

Wayne County Rubber, Inc. was established in 1991 as a custom rubber mixer. We are privately owned and operated and located in the original Rubbermaid 160,000 sq ft building in Wooster, Ohio. As a custom mixer we are known for our attention to detail and the quality compounds that result. WCR is an ISO 9001:2000 company. We take pride in our well equipped on-site laboratory where we test all production compounds as well as conduct new compound development.
In addition to custom mixing, we have always offered a line of finished goods as well. For many years, that product line was EPDM colored granules for running tracks, tennis courts, and non-skid surfaces. We continue to this day offering fine off-white and off-color granules for the non-skid industry.
The motto of the city of Wooster is “Making Tradition a Part of our Future,” and we take that to heart at Wayne County Rubber. We always have our eye on the products of the future, but do not make changes lightly.
Since we own an inverted “L” four roll calender, we have made for various customers uncured EPDM flashing in gauges of .030 to .060, slit in widths from 12” to 72”. We believe the EPDM roofing industry is slowly being replaced by TPO technology. We have taken several years listening to the needs of contractors and building owners. That is why we are offering Wayneflex TPO™ flexible roofing membrane, the roofing membrane of tomorrow, available today from Wayne County Rubber.
